Samson, the biblical Hebrew of legend, was foretold to be the savior of his people and gifted with divine strength.  His carefree youth ends after his young bride and father are murdered by a wicked Philistine prince.  Samson's retaliates by slaying 1000 Philistine soldiers in a monumental battle.  After many years of uneasy truce, Samson works for peace while the prince an his agent, the temptress Delilah, plot to uncover the true secret of his strength.
